   The Care Ministry Team seeks to minister with Christ’s love to those in our congregation and our community who are in need.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITY
1.   Meet regularly as a team.
2.   Promote the stocking and distribution of items in the food pantry.
3.   Coordinate the funeral meal ministry.
4.   Provide emergency assistance when opportunities arise (Home Aid)
5.   Provide and implement strategies of taking care of the emergency needs presented for the church family as well as the community.
6.   Keep our congregation aware of the needs within our church and community.
7.   Coordinate providing of meals and other needs to church family after the birth of new baby, hospitalization, to our shut-ins when needed.
8.   Present a budget proposal to the finance team in September for any projected expenses the following year.
9.   Present a written paragraph of ministry goals for the following year at church’s annual meeting. These will be included in a goal setting notebook.

ACCOUNTABILITY
The ministry shall report to the Church Board and Elders of the Blanchard Church of Christ concerning the work of their ministry.
